About Kvarkenfest

What sparked the idea?

In 2022, the Kvarken Council and, at the same time, the official cooperation across Kvarken turns 50. When we at the Kvarken Council thought about how we could celebrate this milestone, the answer was obvious. We decided to organize a big festival for everyone in the region!

This is how Kvarkenfest was born. The festival will take place at Elisa Stadion on June 18, 2022. This multilingual festival is an all-day event spiced with a diverse program. The daytime program is more family-oriented, while the evening is filled with top artists from the region.

We want everyone to have a chance to participate in Kvarkenfest – therefore we have decided to set an affordable price of 5€ or 50 SEK for the ticket. Book your ticket via Netticket!

A recurring event

One of the main goals of the festival is to strengthen the cultural and social ties in the Kvarken region. This region, which belonged to the same country for 700 years, definitely needs its own festival.

Kvarkenfest strives to become a recurring event that celebrates togetherness and supports the Kvarken region’s rich cultural life.

A safe festival

It is of great importance to us that everyone can feel safe at Kvarkenfest. We will be working actively during the festival to ensure safety around stages and the whole festival area.

Kvarkenfest works closely with authorities and organizations in order to provide a safe place to have fun. Our security officers monitor the festival area and we have good connections to the local authorities, police and rescue personnel.
